Gordon Dean Smith, Jr, credited as G. Dean Smith (1933 – March 13, 1987) was an American graphic designer. He opened his own design studio in San Francisco in 1959, and frequently collaborated with Saul Bass, working closely with him until Smith’s premature death at the age of 54.
