GE Medical Systems[]
1994–2004[]
In 1994, GE's healthcare division was established as a subsidiary, with the logo being in the We bring good things to life branding format at the time.
GE Healthcare[]
February–July 2004 (transitional)[]
On February 6, 2004, in the wake of the acquisition of British healthcare company Amersham plc, GE Medical Systems (GEMS) was rebranded to GE Healthcare. To keep up with the name change, the old wordmark in Univers was replaced with a new one in Trade Gothic Extended font. The Medical Systems wordmark has remained on the old GEMS website until the new GE Healthcare website launched in April 2004. This logo was only used for a few months before the eventual rebrand of GE's divisions in July.
2004–2023[]
In July 2004, as part of the rebranding efforts at GE, which included making blue their primary color scheme and debuting their new Inspira font, GE Healthcare adopted the new blue Inspira look, ditching the old transitional look.
GE HealthCare[]
2023-present[]
On November 9, 2021, General Electric announced it would demerge into three investment-grade public companies, GE HealthCare being one of the three planned divestitures. The spin-off of GE HealthCare occurred during the first week of January 2023.
