In 2023, the Cinemax Studios logo made its brief comeback as it was used in trailers and promotional materials alongside the current GMA Pictures logo on a 2023 film co-produced with Viva Films (who also used its classic 90s logo as well) called Video City: Be Kind, Rewind.

GMA Network later renamed Cinemax Studios to GMA Films after HBO Asia introduced Cinemax Asia.

GMA Films went on its first hiatus for five years in 2000.

This interim, short-lived logo was inspired by the network's "rainbow" logo from 1992 to 2002.

The logo is a revised version of the 2005 logo.

In 2016, GMA Films was shut down because of the network's migration to digital TV.
