Giallo was originally launched on November 2, 2005, as XXXX which was a music television channel that is rivaling with MTV Italy. This logo is short-lived.
On April 8, 2006, the channel was renamed to FLUX and were relaunched with new programmes and a new schedules, but this logo is also short-lived.
On November 30, 2006, the channel was finally renamed as QOOB, as well as it gets relaunched for the third time with another more new schedule. However, it was closed down on January 1, 2009, but was relaunched on February 9, 2009 and closed down again on November 2, 2009.
By November 2, 2010, its last closedown occured permanently and the channel was disappeared without a trace for good.
On June 30, 2011, QOOB was replaced by a new channel called CanalOne.
On June 30, 2011, QOOB was relaunched and were resurrected as CanalOne, but the name was short-lived throughout May 7, 2012.
On May 14, 2012, the channel was resurrected as Giallo, a new channel aimed at crime and investigation. The Italian word "Giallo" is translated in English as "Yellow".
On April 14, 2014, Giallo was relaunched with a new schedule and a new look.
