In 2014, the logo and the wordmark were slightly modified, most notably in the letter G.
In 2016, the company began to referred as GSK, though the full name was legally used until 2022. A beating-heart animation was also introduced in TV commercials, and the GSK logo appeared prominently on products. Despite the Haleon spin-off in 2022, the animated variant of 2014 logo was retained for several months.
Despite this, this logo, the animated logo used on ads, and the name GlaxoSmithKline is still used in countries where Haleon doesn't operate, especially in European countries such as Romania.

A new logo was introduced on June 9, 2022, designed by Wolff Olins after shortening its official name from GlaxoSmithKline plc to GSK plc on May 16. This came some time after the announcement of the spin-off of its consumer healthcare unit under a new company, Haleon, in February 2022.
