Google Buzz was a social networking and messaging tool that was developed by Google, Google Buzz was heavily criticized due to privacy concerns, which later led to a privacy controversy that costed Google $8.5 million. Google Buzz was discontinued in December 15, 2011 and replaced by Google+.
