On November 9, 2019, Grupo Globo's executive president Jorge Nóbrega stated that the project called "Uma Só Globo" ("One Globo"), presented in October 2018 and run by Accenture, will be finished by January 2020 (although it is currently in the works). By this date, all Grupo Globo companies - except Editora Globo, Infoglobo, Sistema Globo de Rádio, and Fundação Roberto Marinho, which will remain as standalone subsidiaries - will complete their integration in a single company-branded simply "Globo", dropping the word "Grupo" (group) of their name.[1]

The new logo is expected to inherit Rede Globo's iconic symbol - created by Hans Donner - but featuring an new wordmark - inspired by Globoplay's 2018 logo - replacing the classic 1975 AvantGarde-inspired wordmark - also made by Hans Donner.

The first sub-brand under this new strategy was its sports website Globoesporte.com, renamed as GE in July 22, 2020. In August 31, by introducing live streaming of pay TV channels, Globoplay has also rebranded, updating its logo, more aligned with GE. This also afected Globosat and its TV Everywhere service, both rebranded as Canais Globo in September 15.
