In November 2012, the maps app was rebranded as HERE Maps.

2013–2016

With the release of Windows 10 Mobile, HERE Maps for Windows Phone would redirect Windows 10 Mobile users towards the Windows Maps app, which used Here's mapping data at the time. After Nokia sold HERE, the apps were made available for Windows 10 Mobile users again until the app was shut down in 2019.
