In June 2006, with the introduction of the Windows Mobile-powered HTC TyTN, the logo was overhauled, introducing the current wordmark.

On October 15, 2009, coinciding with the introduction of the "YOU" campaign and the tagline "quietly brilliant", the 2006 symbol was dropped, with the wordmark now being colored green (which has been HTC's signature color, and was borrowed from the green arrow of the symbol).
