On April 30, 1952, the Hasbro boy was introduced as Hasbro's mascot on television commercials and print ads. He did not appear on packaging until 1959. He made his last appearance in 1968.

In 1977, a square and house were added to the logo and the "Hasbro" text changed again. In 1984, Hasbro Industries merged with Milton Bradley with the former renaming themselves to Hasbro Bradley, Inc. until the following year when it was rebranded to match with the Hasbro brand. This logo was reintroduced in 2018 for the Transformers G1 reissue line and is still in use for all G1-related Transformers material including toy releases as of today.
