Heart of Asia is the digital free-to-air channel of GMA Network, where it airs tagalized Asianovelas that were aired on the main network's Heart of Asia and FantaSeries programming blocks. The channel also airs GMA-produced shows that were aired on the network's former cable/satellite channel, Fox Filipino (through its partnership with Fox Networks Group). It was launched on June 12, 2020 (Philippine Independence Day) on test broadcast, then officially on June 29, 2020.
On June 7, 2020, GMA Network aired an announcement advising audiences to re-scan their digital TV boxes on June 12, 2020 to receive their new lineup which will include GMA, GMA News TV (now GTV) and Heart of Asia. The channel plans to air programs that were previously shown on the Heart of Asia programming block.
