Hispano-Suiza was a Spanish automotive engineering company and, after World War II, a French manufacturer of aviation engines and components. It is best known for its luxury cars and aviation engines before World War II. They stopped making cars in 1936, but their aviation portion was active until 1968, when it was merged with Messier to make Messier-Hispano.
