This logo was revealed when Honor Magic 2 announced on 30 August 2018. On 31 October 2018, Honor changed its logo for the release of Honor Magic 2. The new logo later used on a large scale on 11 December 2018.

This logo was originally used as a print variant of the 2018 logo, and later become the general logo on April Fools' Day 2020. On 17 November 2020, Huawei sold the Honor division to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd., forming a new company under the name of Honor Device Co., Ltd. At the same time, this logo later used on a large scale.
