Travel Channel was launched in mid-1996 by Landmark Communications as a Latin American feed of Travel Channel.

People+Arts

People & Arts Network

People+Arts was launched on October 6, 1997 alongside Animal Planet as People & Arts Network, a joint-venture between Discovery Communications and the BBC (via its commercial division at the time, BBC Worldwide). When Discovery purchased the US Travel Channel, People&Arts was merged with the Latin American feed a year later.
