2002–2013
Prior to Mac OS X Leopard, the logo's camera was of the disposable variety. In Mac OS X Leopard, it became a digital SLR camera.
2013–2015
The camera lens grew in size and the camera looked simpler. The sunset in the picture was replaced with a daytime picture. This icon was introduced at the October Event 2013 alongside OS X Mavericks. In 2015, iPhoto was superseded by Photos.
