In 1995, ITT split into three public companies: ITT Corp., an entertainment firm, later known as Starwood, ITT Hartford, an insurance firm, now known as The Hartford Financial Services Group, and ITT Industries, now known as ITT Inc., a manufacturing firm. This wordmark was still used in the logo of ITT Technical Institute, a former subsidiary, until its closure in 2016.
