1988–1999
By 1988, the Anglia knight had started looking dated and was retired. Lambie-Nairn was brought in to create a new look with a logo made up of triangles which formed a stylised A.

Generic ITV ident never used due to the yellow and blue triangles being the wrong way around.
1999–2001
A new look, also designed by English & Pockett, was launched on November 8, 1999.
