The first icon was used for promotions and events like WWDC where a higher resolution image was needed. iTunes U for iOS was released on January 19, 2012. This icon was used in version 1.0 - 1.3.1.
2013–2021[]

This icon was used in version 1.4, starting with iOS 7, to 3.8.3. On 10 June 2020, Apple formally announced that iTunes U would be discontinued. It was removed in December 2021.
