The Bell logo used in 1969 was designed by Saul Bass.
1984–1993[]
"An Ameritech Company" was added to the logo upon acquisition by Ameritech in 1984. The Illinois Bell name and Saul Bass Bell logo were dropped when Ameritech changed its logo in 1993 and was fully absorbed by AT&T in 2005.
