Founded in 1899 by Jamsetji Tata, Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) is an Indian hospitality company and a subsidiary of Tata Group that manages a portfolio of hotels, resorts, jungle safaris, palaces, spas and in-flight catering services. Its various brands include Taj, Vivanta, Ginger, The Gateway and SeleQtions, as well as the catering company TajSATS, which is a joint venture with SATS of Singapore.
