On February 17, 2021, Indofood acquires PepsiCo shares of Indofood Fritolay Makmur. The end of partnership will saw many Frito-Lay brands such as Lay's, Doritos, and Cheetos to disappear from Indonesian market after August 2021 but retained local brands such as Chitato and Qtela, which will be integrated within Indofood brand.
