Indosiar is an Indonesian national private television network. It was launched on January 11, 1995, and was initially owned by Indosiar Karya Media, a subsidiary of Salim Group. On 2011, it was bought by Emtek and two years later, it merged with affiliated company Surya Citra Media, which operates SCTV.

INDOSIAR Logo

The first logo of Indosiar was used from the launch until 2015 and sometimes it's still visible on many properties.

It was based on the logo of Hong Kong's television broadcasting company TVB, but except the color order of the circle was changed, as well as "INDOSIAR" text cropped the green side of the circle. TVB had also helped Indosiar's development in the first years.

The "flying fish" logo was also used on-air from March 2007 until March 16, 2012. The logo was used to resemble Indosiar's mascot.

The original version of this logo has the rainbow colors on the fish's wing and still used on several properties such as SNG cars and statement letters.

INDOSIAR Logo 3

As a part of rebranding effort under Emtek's ownership since 2011, Indosiar slightly updated its logo with 3D effect. Used on-air from October 1, 2012, to November 30, 2014.

Note that former 3 red rings that replaced letter O, which was a sign of many Salim Group subsidiaries, had been reduced to 1.
