The Core Solo line of processors was introduced in January 2006.
A year later, on August 7, 2007, the Core Solo and Duo processors were discontinued in favor of Core 2 Solo and Core 2 Duo respectively.
Core 2 Solo[]
2006–2009[]
On July 27, 2006, the Core 2 line of processors was launched. Because of this, a new processor named "Core 2 Solo" was released, which eventually replaced the original Core Solo processor in 2007.
2009–2012[]
Following Intel's global rebranding in 2009, the Core 2 Solo processor had also changed its logo.
On June 8, 2012, the Core 2 series of processors was discontinued, with the Core 2 Solo stopping production too.
Core Duo[]
2006–2007[]
Alongside the Core Solo processor, a different line named Core Duo was also released too.
As the Core Solo processor was discontinued, the Core Duo also stopped production on August 7, 2007.
Core 2 Duo[]
2006–2009[]
Following the release of the Core 2 processor line, to go along with the Intel Core 2 Solo, another processor was launched; Core 2 Duo. After the original Core Duo was discontinued, the Core 2 Duo replaced it.
2009–2012[]
On June 8, 2012, the Core 2 line was discontinued alongside the Core 2 Duo.
Core 2 Quad[]

When the Core 2 processors were released, not every single one of them replaced a processor, but instead 2 were launched separately, one of them being the Core 2 Quad processor.

The Intel Core 2 line was discontinued on June 8, 2012, causing the Core 2 Quad to stop production.
Core 2 Extreme[]
2006–2009[]
When the Core 2 processors were released, not every single one of them replaced a processor, but instead 2 were launched separately, one of them being the Core 2 Extreme processor.
Before 2006, every single Intel processor's logo was unique and most of the parts from them were blue. However, with the introduction of the 2005 Intel logo, processor logos became identical, with some having unique colors though. The Extreme-branded processors were colored in black.
2009–2012[]
In 2009, the Intel logos were changed. However, even with this change, the Extreme processors remained colored black, which also included the Core 2 Extreme processor.
On June 8, 2012, the Core 2 line of processors was discontinued, including the Intel Core 2 Extreme processor.
Core 2 Viiv[]
2007–2009[]
In 2007, the Intel Viiv processor had became part of the Core 2 line, thus renaming it to the Core 2 Viiv.
Despite the fact that this was a processor in the Core 2 series, the platform didn't rebrand in 2009, but instead get completely phased out.
Core 2 vPro[]

In 2007, alongside the introduction of the Core 2 Viiv to the line, a new Core 2 processor was launched; the Core 2 vPro. Despite the name, this processor is actually unrelated to the already existing Intel vPro.

The processor, along with its line, was discontinued on June 8, 2012.
Core i3[]

In Early 2009, a few other processors were announced in the Core line, those being the i5 and the i3.
2009–2011[]
The respective processors were launched in 2009, skipping the initial proposed design. On January 7, 2010 , Intel introduced a new tagline for these processors "All New Intel Core 2010 Processors". Intel Core i3 was first released in December 2009.

In 2011, the Core line's logos were modified again, including the Core i series.
2013–2015[]
In 2013, the Intel Core line of processors' logos were changed, with 2 variants existing for both the Haswell and the Broadwell microarchitectures.

Intel Core i7 started development in Late 2007, so for reference of the project this logo was made. Though, later went unused after the introduction of this processor. This logo was somewhat similar to Intel Core 2 Series.

Intel Core i7 was first introduced in 2008. Though Intel Core i7 vPro Edition was not released at this time.
2009–2011[]
Intel Core i7 was upgraded in May 2009, making it more capable and strong choice for buying, with this a new logo was introduced along with all other Intel processors. This change also introduced Intel Core i7 vPro Edition, which was also under development since 2007.
