Intel unveiled Project Athena at CES in early 2019. The name itself didn't appear on its laptops but instead it used the "Engineered for Mobile Performance" badge alongside the main 10th gen Intel Core badge. Project Athena became Intel Evo later in 2020.
Intel's second generation of Project Athena was unveiled in 2020 alongside with the Tiger Lake mobile CPUs. Intel adopts the Evo name and now uses the single "Intel Evo: Powered by Core" badge instead of the regular Intel Core and the "Engineered for Mobile Performance" badges.
In 2022, Intel released the new logo of Intel Evo. The branding was shortened as it dropped the "Powered by Core" byline.
