Intel began production of Pentium III in 1999. However, it wasn't that long until they released the Pentium 4 processor. This processor was also with Xeon, just like Pentium II.
Intel Pentium III Xeon
Throughout May–November of 2004, Intel phased out the Pentium III and Pentium III Xeon processors in favor of the Pentium 4. However, laptops and embedded devices continued to be shipped with the Pentium III processor until May 18, 2007.
