Interfaks-TV was Launched in July of 1996 as a relay station of Meteor-Sport in Moscow. After the closure of Meteor, the channel showed the news made by Interfax news agency. On January 1st Interfax-TV was turned into a regional partner of TNT, that was launched on the same day.

On 1st of January, 2009 Interfax-TV name was fazed out. Programs, created for the broadcaster (such as Moskva: Instruktsiya po primeneniyu and Global'niye novosti) were closed by December 31st, 2008.
