Internet Explorer for Mac was a web browser developed by Microsoft for the Macintosh Platform. It was added as the result of a five-year agreement between Apple and Microsoft.
The first version was released in 1996 with on Mac OS 7.0.1 and was discontinued in 2003, when Apple released their own web browser, Safari, in Mac OS X 10.3.
