2012–2018[]

Team J was the first JKT48 team that comes from all members of the JKT48 1st Generation, along with Aki Takajo and Haruka Nakagawa, who were from AKB48 (JKT48 sister group from Japan), started to be formed on December 23, 2012, to coincide with the announcement of the JKT48 1st Anniversary event, at Istora Senayan, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia.

The second JKT48 Team J logo has been updated through the Team J Official Twitter account, which was released on August 31, 2018. However, this team has been disbanded on March 14, 2021.
Team KIII[]

Team KIII was the second JKT48 team that comes from the majority of members of the JKT48 2nd Generation, started to be formed on June 25, 2013, to coincide with the announcement of the stage show of JKT48 2nd Generation Trainee, Boku no Taiyou (Matahari Milikku) at JKT48 Theater, fX Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia.

The second JKT48 Team KIII logo has been updated through the Team KIII Official Twitter account, which was released on August 31, 2018. However, this team has been disbanded on March 13, 2021.
Team T[]

Team T was the third JKT48 team that comes from the majority of members of the JKT48 3rd Generation, started to be formed on January 24, 2015, to coincide with the announcement of the JKT48 3rd Generation Trainee Event/Concert Mulai Sekarang Sungguh-Sungguh Part 2 at JKT48 Theater, fX Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia.
2018–2019 (official) and 2020–2021 (unofficial)[]

The second JKT48 Team T logo has been updated through the Team T Official Twitter account, which was released on August 31, 2018. However, because Team T's 2nd formation with the Fresh Peach concept by Captain Ayana has been disbanded on December 31, 2019, this logo was used as an unofficial logo in June 2020. Thus, Team T's 3rd formation was formed with the Flying to the High Sky concept by Captain Celine on August 22, 2020, until this team has been disbanded again on March 12, 2021.
JKT48 Academy[]

JKT48 Academy was formed on April 15, 2018 to replace JKT48 Trainee (2012–2018 and 2021–present). This announcement was made to coincide with the announcement of the JKT48 RE:BOOST project launch by the General Manager of JKT48 and General Manager of JKT48 Theater, Melody Nurramdhani Laksani, at the JKT48 Theater, fX Sudirman, Central Jakarta, Jakarta, Indonesia. JKT48 Academy was fostered by the JKT48 Academy Headmistress, Devi Kinal Putri, who has graduated as the member of JKT48 1st Generation on June 30, 2018. However, JKT48 Academy has been disbanded on March 11, 2021.
