In 1997, Jardine Insurance Brokers merged with Lloyd Thompson Group to form Jardine Lloyd Thompson Group.
2009–present[]
In July 2009, the company launched a new brand which removed the names of the firm, leaving simply the acronym JLT (with the legal company name retained) and evolution of the pyramid device.
