Jewel-Osco was established in 1902 as Jewel Tea Co. Inc.

The name was later reduced to just Jewel.

Osco was later added to Jewel stores in 1961.

1980–2013

Jewel and Osco were merged to become Jewel-Osco (stylized as Jewel-Osco) in 1980. This logo is still used at many locations. This logo was originally orange and was made slightly more red in the mid 90's.

2013-present

A redesign of the logo was introduced in late 2013, with the names stacked, the underlines and hyphen removed and the design enclosed in a circle.
