Jornal Estadual was a news program created in 1983 by TV Paranaense, a Rede Globo's affiliate station. It was equivalent to today's Praça TV.

1983-1985?[]

JE1983

The first logo of Jornal Estadual was simply a gray-toned and stylized "JE" in front of a black background and a rounded shape with some images of Paraná's landmarks.

1986-1987[]

In 1986, the logo recieved a minor tweak. The "JE" symbol now had a white color and a 3D look, with a golden-toned border. The logo also had 2 variations, one tilted to the left, used in its 1st and 2nd editions, and one to the right, used in its 3rd edition.

1987-1988[]

JE-1987

In 1987, the logo changed again. It still kept the "JE" symbol, but it was now all colored in yellow tones, as well as the background. Also, the logo received a reflection.

1988-1989[]

JE1988

In 1988, the logo changed once again. Now, the slides used during the countdown, which consisted of Paraná's recordings and the "JE" abbreviation on the bottom right corner, became the default logo. The "JE" symbol looked similar to the 1986 one, but instead of a white-colored logo, it was toned in gray.

1989[]

JE1989

In 1989, Jornal Estadual received a revamped logo. It consisted of a yellow square shape cut in the form of the "JE" abbreviation. There was also a faded, light blue-toned rectangle above it, to make the symbol more clear. Despite the change, this logo lasted for a short period of time.

1989-1999[]

1989-1990[]

JE1990

Later on that same year, Jornal Estadual gained an all new logo, which consisted of the Paraná State's map divided into, at the time, the 4 stations that formed Rede Paranaense (in that case, TV Cultura, TV Coroados, TV Cataratas and TV Paranaense) in front of a black background. The map was also given a metallic look, with a mix of the colors white and gray.

1990-1995[]

1990-1992[]

JE-1990-(2)

In 1990, the colors were inverted, as now the Paraná's map was black and the background was mixed between white and gray. Also, the division between the 4 stations were made more clear with white outlines between them.

1992-1995[]

1992-1994[]
JE1992

In 1992, as TV Esplanada left Rede Bandeirantes to affiliate with Globo, a new logo was released, now including 5 stations. The map's top and background were toned in dark blue, while the stations' borders and map's base were colored in a faded yellow. Also, a reflection of the map could be seen under it.

1994-1995[]
JE1993

In 1994, the logo's colors recieved a tweak. The blue-toned blackground and map's top were made lighter, while the outlines and map's base colored in yellow received a more vivid tone.

1995-1999[]

Jornal Estadual 1998

In 1995, following TV Imagem's transition from Band to Globo, the logo received a new look. The background was now a black and dark blue gradient, the borders between the now 6 stations were made closer to each other, and the Paraná's map was now computer generated. Later in 1999, as part of Praça TV's national rebrand, Jornal Estadual was discontinued in favor of Paraná TV.
