In 2009, the first edition was replaced with the first (and, at that point, only) edition of Jornal da EPTV.
In 2013, Jornal Regional was fully replaced with Jornal da EPTV. This was done to avoid any confusion with Jornal da Record, which uses the same two initial letters JR.
