2004–2007[]

The station signed on November 2, 2004 as a full-power relay of Univision affiliate KEYU-LP and was originally owned by Equity Broadcasting.
2007–2010[]

In 2010, KEYU, its relays and sister station KAMT-LP were purchased by Drewry Communications, owners of CBS affiliate KFDA-TV (channel 10).
2010–2012[]

In 2010, the station switched to Telemundo, moving Univision to KTMO-LP (channel 36).
2012–2018[]

In 2014, the low-power were shuttered On October 1, 2015, Raycom Media announced that it would purchase Drewry's broadcasting division, including KEYU, the sale was completed on December 1 of that year, making channel 31 its first Spanish-language broadcasting property.
2018–present[]

On June 25, 2018, Gray Television announced that it would merge with Raycom, the sale was completed on January 2, 2019.
