During the period this logo was used, KIRO lost its CBS affiliation to KSTW on January 16, 1995 in a group affiliation deal that included Dallas-Fort Worth stster station KTVT; only to regain CBS on June 30, 1997 when KSTW switched to UPN.
The "7" in this logo was derived from the short-lived 1993 logo above.
