On May 4, 2023, KMCC was announced to be the new broadcast partner for the Vegas Golden Knights. To reflect this, On August 14, the station moved its ION affiliation to its second subchannel and became an independent station.

2025–present[]

On March 1, 2025, KMCC rebranded as The Spot Vegas 34. This logo has been seen in Vegas Golden Knights broadcasts and ad promos.
