In 1986, KNXV became Phoenix's charter Fox affiliate. This logo for Fox 15 reflects the new affiliation.

1994–1995
In 1994, KNXV's owner, The E.W. Scripps Company, initiated a group deal with the ABC Television Network that saw four of Scripps stations become ABC affiliates. KNXV was among those stations, taking the affiliation away from KTVK. Fox went to KSAZ-TV channel 10 as a result of a separate deal involving that station. However, instead of ABC programming moving immediately from KTVK, it moved in stages due to their contract with KTVK ending on 12/31/94; as a result of this and KNXV's contract with Fox not officially ending until January 1995, this temporary branding, normally used for the newly-launched news department, was utilized for the entire station.
