KOBI switched from CBS to ABC (United States) in 1978. This logo representing an Interstate Route shield sign, is shared with sister station KOTI in Klamath Falls, and then-sister stations KRCR-TV in Redding-Chico-Red Bluff, California, KFWU (now KQSL) in Fort Bragg-Ukiah, California, and KAEF-TV in Arcata-Eureka-Fortuna, California.

KOBI switched from ABC to NBC in 1983 taking the affiliation away from KTVL which became a CBS affiliate.
