KQED Newsroom[]
2013–2021[]
In July 2013, KQED announced that they'll launch the program called KQED Newsroom replacing This Week in Northern California. The episode from the previous show ended on September 13, 2013, and the pilot episode of KQED Newsroom premiered on October 18, 2013. On January 20, 2017, KQED Newsroom moved the timeslot from 8:00 pm to 7:00 pm after the launch of the 24/7 PBS Kids Channel and saving the room for PBS primetime programs. KQED Newsroom concluded on April 2, 2021 for a hiatus of the KQED building renovation.

2021–2023[]
On September 10, 2021, KQED Newsroom returned to the KQED building (after a 2-year renovation) with a new logo and look. On June 2, 2023, it was announced that KQED Newsroom will end on June 23, 2023. A two-part finale (culminating with the series finale episode) aired on June 16, 2023 and June 23, 2023 (series finale) retrospectively.
