With the introduction of Nederland 3 in 1988, KRO introduced a new version of its "word cross" logo. The letters have all been made thinner and link up with each other.

Logo used at the start of programmes

In 1997, KRO renewed its image and got a new logo, designed by the Hilversum-based company Valkieser. The new logo was the first not to include the "word cross" that had been with KRO for most of its history.
