On June 13, 2014, KHAS-TV, the NBC affiliate for the western part of the Lincoln market, ceased broadcasting at midnight, with NBC programming moved to KSNB and the digital subchannels of KOLN and KGIN. KSNB took on KHAS' former newscast title, News 5 as a temporary result.
