On June 14, 2023, KLUV rebranded as 98.7 The Spot utilizing the brand used by its sister station in Houston. The "K-LOVE" intellectual property, including its call sign (which was in use since 1984 when the station flipped to an oldies format) was transferred to the Educational Media Foundation as part of the deal involving the acquisitions of WTSS in Buffalo and WLFP in Memphis. On June 26, the station changed its call sign to KSPF.
