This logo was also used by then-Gaylord Broadcasting sister station KTVT in Dallas–Fort Worth, and Repretel 11 in Costa Rica.

On March 13, 1995, KSTW swapped affiliations with longtime CBS affiliate KIRO-TV. The station added additional newscasts to its schedule and adopted this logo that was also used on then-sister station KTVT in Dallas-Ft. Worth from the time that station (now a CBS owned-and-operated station) affiliated with CBS that same year.

On June 30, 1997, Gaylord Entertainment sold KSTW to the Paramount Stations Group and became the UPN O&O for the region, which also switched affiliations with KIRO-TV.
