KTGM signed on in 1987 as the second commercial television station in Guam (and the first one on UHF), taking the ABC affiliation from primary NBC affiliate KUAM-TV (channel 8).
2001–2006[]
KTGM became a secondary affiliate of The WB after then-primary CBS affiliate KUAM-LP (channel 20) stopped airing its programs.
