The "3" is of similar design to the one used at the time by eventual sister station KVBC (later KHSV) (now KSNV) in Las Vegas from 1986 until 2014 and WWMT in Kalamazoo/Grand Rapids from 1987 until 1996.

This Microgramma Bold "3" logo design is also used currently by NBC affiliates WSAZ-TV in Huntington-Charleston, West Virginia and KSNW in Wichita-Hutchinson, Kansas, and this logo was also used as a big TV tube shape box logo element by ABC affiliate KATC in Lafayette, Louisiana from 1966 to 1983, and the "Microgramma "3" logo in a TV tube shape, is currently used by NBC affiliate KCRA-TV in Sacramento-Stockton-Modesto.
