On January 1, 2025, KUNP switched programming from Univision to an English-language independent station, carrying Blazers basketball games through a deal with the Portland Trail Blazers since September 23, 2024, as Sinclair decided that it would not renew its affiliation contract with Univision, thus ending KUNP's Univision affiliation since its sign-on for 24 years.
