O Shopping was launched on October 14, 2013 after ABS-CBN and CJ O Shopping formed a joint venture company to create a TV home shopping network in the Philippines. This was not ABS-CBN's first time to enter this venture as the company used to launched its short lived Sky Mall channel in the 90s but it was closed down few years later as it needed a strong and competent partner that knew the business.
To celebrate O Shopping's 2nd anniversary, a new logo was introduced in November 2015.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic and enhanced community quarantine in Luzon, the channel went off air on April 21, 2020. The channel was also affected by ABS-CBN's shutdown, and suspended its operations on digital terrestrial television and Cignal.
On July 8, 2020, ABS-CBN released a statement that O Shopping will cease operations towards the end of 2020, and CJ ENM decided to move out of business completely. The retrenchment of employees will begin on August 7, 2020. The channel continues to broadcast on SkyCable and iWant TFC. Meanwhile, the official online store website operated a "Good-BUY Sale" online promo event which lasted until November 15, 2020. On the following day, the website has ceased its operations.
O Shopping concluded its operations on October 31, 2020.
