Mediteve was launched in April 2002. It was originally a channel which showed an ongoing SMS chat. "Med i teve" is a Swedish casual expression meaning "on TV", as in "I'm on TV".

2003–2005[]

Med i tv

Med i TV was relaunched on June 5, 2003, with several new programs and a new look. The logo was altered to spell out the name of the channel.[6]

SvD

The channel's schedule was expanded further in March 2004 to turn it into a "real" channel. The logo didn't change this time.[7]

TV400[]

2005–2007[]

In January 2005, Med i TV was closed down and replaced by a new channel called TV400, a channel for "young adults" with "entertainment, excitement and humour".

2007–2011[]

In May 2007, TV400 was relaunched with a new logo and all-new graphics. The logo became softer and the graphics would mostly use black and a pink-purple colour. The new look was launched with a campaign that had the tagline "Vägra vardagen", which means "Refuse the ordinary".

TV11[]

2011–2013[]

On November 11, 2010, TV4 announced that TV400 would be relaunched as TV11 with several new shows. TV11 would also get expanded distribution. TV11 is scheduled for launch on January 19, 2011.

The logo for TV11 was posted to the channel's Facebook page on November 26.[11]
