Kapamilya Channel is a cable and satellite television channel owned by ABS-CBN Corporation, a company under the Lopez Group, run by the Lopez family. It began broadcasting on June 13, 2020 through Sky Cable, Destiny Cable, Cablelink, GSat and various cable operators who are mostly members of the Philippine Cable Television Association. It was then launched on Cignal and SatLite on October 24, 2020, and began broadcasting in HD on the said providers in June 2022.

The channel was launched when ABS-CBN was shut down via the cease and desist order by the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC); hence, most of the programs on the channel were part of the ABS-CBN lineup, prior to the network's closure, allowing the network to continue producing and distributing content since the NTC's cease and desist order for ABS-CBN only covers DWWX-TV Channel 2 and its other free-to-air television and radio stations.
