Launched:  4 July 2004[3]

The first version of the current logo appeared with the release of test build 0.96a: a high-resolution (256×256 pixels) version first appeared with version 2.13 on 6 September 2010, and version 1.27 on 6 April 2014. Designer:  Christopher Bolin[4]

The revised logo first appeared on the official website, on 31 August 2015,[6] and was rolled out to versions 1.30 and 2.31, in January 2016.[7][8]

This revision makes the borders of the icon and the shackle of the padlock perfectly circular, but the keyhole in the stylised padlock remains slightly offset, to the right.
