The first version of the current logo appeared with the release of test build 0.96a: a high-resolution (256×256 pixels) version first appeared with version 2.13 on 6 September 2010, and version 1.27 on 6 April 2014. The borders of the icon are not perfectly circular, and the keyhole in the stylised padlock is very slightly offset to the left.
The official website of KeePass, which uses Verdana as the main font, went online on 2 January 2007.[5]
The revised logo first appeared on the official website, on 31 August 2015,[6] and was rolled out to versions 1.30 and 2.31, in January 2016.[7][8]
This revision makes the borders of the icon and the shackle of the padlock perfectly circular, but the keyhole in the stylised padlock remains slightly offset, to the right.
