Following Kellogg's' announcement in 2022 about their plan to spin off into multiple companies, a new name and logo were unveiled for Kellanova, their international cereal, snacks, and plant-based foods company on March 15, 2023. The split was completed on October 2, 2023 with Kellanova being the legal successor to the original Kellogg's company. On August 14, 2024, Mars announced that it would acquire Kellanova, the acquisition was completed on December 11, 2025.[1]
